Privacy Policy

PublishTempo helps creators prepare and publish their original content. This policy explains what information we use, why we use it, and the choices you have.

Effective August 10, 2026 · Last updated August 11, 2026

1. Information we collect

You create an account with an email address and password, or by signing in with Google. In either case we receive your email address, and a display name and profile picture if your Google account provides one. We do not receive or store your Google password.

We also collect content you upload, captions, schedules, publishing preferences, contact information you separately send to support, and basic technical data needed to keep PublishTempo secure and reliable.

When you connect a social account, the platform provides an authorization token and limited profile details according to the permissions you approve. We do not receive or store your social account password.

2. How we use information

We use information only to provide PublishTempo: authenticating you, storing drafts, scheduling content, sending content to the channels you explicitly select, displaying delivery status, preventing misuse, and responding to support requests.

3. TikTok data

When you connect TikTok, you authorize PublishTempo through TikTok's own Login Kit screen. We request a single permission, video.publish, which is what allows us to post a video you have approved.

From TikTok we receive and store an access token, a refresh token, and your TikTok account identifier, all held server-side and never exposed to your browser. Each time you open the composer we query TikTok for your current posting settings — your nickname and profile picture, the privacy levels available to you, whether comments, Duet, or Stitch are disabled, and your maximum video length. These are displayed so you can choose, and are not retained after the screen closes.

We send a video to TikTok only after you select TikTok as a destination, choose a privacy level yourself, complete any required commercial-content disclosure, and accept TikTok's Music Usage Confirmation. To deliver a scheduled post we make the video available to TikTok through a private, expiring link on our own verified domain; that link stops working once the post completes or after a short window, whichever comes first.

We do not sell TikTok data, use it for advertising, use it to build profiles, or share it with third parties. When you disconnect TikTok we revoke the token with TikTok and delete our stored copy. Use of information received from TikTok, Meta, Google, LinkedIn, and other platform APIs is also governed by their developer terms.

4. Service providers

We use Firebase (Google) for authentication, our database, and scheduled backend processing, and Cloudflare for website delivery, security, and media storage in Cloudflare R2. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

5. Retention and security

We keep your account and content while you use PublishTempo and for only as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes. We use encrypted transport, access controls, server-side token handling, and least-privilege permissions. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

6. Your choices

You may disconnect a channel at any time, revoke PublishTempo from the platform’s own app-permissions screen, or ask us to export, correct, or delete your account data. See our data deletion instructions.

7. Children

PublishTempo is not directed to children under 13, or below the minimum digital-consent age in their country. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information.

8. Contact

Questions or privacy requests can be sent to privacy@publishtempo.com. We aim to acknowledge privacy requests within seven days.
